Marek Hudík at TEDxVSE University

We are happy to share that our member, Marek Hudík, spoke at the TEDxVSE University conference with a lecture in the thematic section “Vision from Theory” entitled “The Power of Self-Selection.”

The TEDxVSE University: From Theory to Market event took place on November 25, 2025, at the University of Economics in Prague, in Žižkov. The event was held in English and connected the academic environment with practice through inspiring lectures and a networking program.

Marek is an expert in institutional economics, decision-making, and the application of economic principles in practice. In his TEDx lecture, The Power of Self-Selection, he showed how individuals “self-select” into environments that match their characteristics, preferences, and goals—and how these choices subsequently shape our everyday behavior and the form of communities and society as a whole.

He drew on his experience in academia and the public sector to offer a perspective that connects economic theory with everyday life. You can watch the entire recording on YouTube.
