Petr Houdek and Štěpán Bahník ranked second in the FPH Best Publications Award for 2025

Our colleagues Petr Houdek and Štěpán Bahník won an excellent second place in the competition for the best publication of the Faculty of Business Administration for 2025.

On February 18, 2026, they received the award from Dean Prof. Jiří Hnilica and Vice Dean for Research Doc. Marek Hudík in the Best Article category. Their study, “When honesty checks-out: Willful ignorance and the persistence of unethical environments,” was published in the prestigious journal Current Opinion in Psychology. The work explores the phenomenon of willful ignorance and its fundamental influence on the maintenance of unethical environments in organizations and society.

We warmly congratulate Petr and Štěpán on this outstanding result and thank them for representing our lab so well!
